Vivid pale pink. Perfumed aromas and flavors of almond flowers, violet, and sour red cherry. Fresh and vibrant, with good saline cut to the fresh mouthfeel. Finishes long and savory with repeating floral notes. Sneaky concentration here. A blend of 80% Montepulciano and 20% Syrah.
Donna Giulia 2013 – Score: 91
Bright orange-pink. Earthy aromas of herbs, cloves and red cherry. Then spicy and creamy with round but precise flavors of red fruit and herbs. Rich and deep Rosato bubbly that boasts outstanding complexity and concentration. 100% Montepulciano.
